Christine Cole (b. 1997) works in a variety of media ranging from photography and video to graphic design and printmaking. Her work frequently explores a personal relationship with the home as well as the emotional implications of material objects within that space. She is interested in exploring still life imagery as a reflection of mental health, identity, and society, using theoretical frameworks to conceptualize ideas of representation, time, and memory.
Cole received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Art History from Rollins College in 2020. Recent exhibitions include the petal that falls first, Winter Park, FL (2021), Frame of Reference, Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Winter Park, FL(2020), and CONSTRUCT, Winter Park, FL (2019).
